Echo | Acrylic Painting | 16x20" | Unframed
"Echo" is reminiscent of certain pieces by Wassily Kandinsky as well as the works of the minimalist painters. It is bare, relying heavily on the negative space between the two geometric structures within it.
The imagery here is a minimal representation of the pyramids of Egypt and their association with celestial bodies. Their function, of course, is now a mere echo of what it was in the ancient world.
The painting is signed, titled, and dated on the back. It is unframed and measures 16x20 inches.
