Abstract 4 | Mixed Media Painting | 16x20" | Unframed
This painting draws some inspiration from the work of Wassily Kandinsky. Its geometric and fluid patterns are highlighted by a thick gold and white acrylic pour. The addition of black lines in the corners is an attempt at containing the chaos within the image.
Kandinsky believed yellow to be a disturbing, aggressive color. That aggression is shown here in the waves of the yellow background. The geometric elements in the center are in the midst of an eruption as they break away from the core of the piece.
The painting is signed, titled, and dated on the back. It is unframed and measures 16x20 inches.
