This painting is an exploration of chaos, expressed in the form of abstract waves and intense colors. While the logical progression of a piece is to paint the background first, this painting was completed in reverse.

I first poured the erratic lines and waves using acrylic paint and then colored the negative spaces in the painting with oil and acrylic. There is some inclusion of deco markers and ink as well. The chaotic elements are nearly contained by the blue border, giving the piece some stability without disrupting the illusion of motion.

The painting is signed, titled, and dated on the back. It is unframed and measures 18x24 inches.
